The Teifi Valley has much to offer when it comes to Brown Trout fishing.
The river begins its journey downstream at LLyn Teifi in the area known as the Teifi Pools, some 1500 ft above sea level. These pools hold some very nice wild brown trout with the scenery totally different from that further downstream. The upper and middle Teifi can hold some nice fish up to 4lb.
However, a fish of a pound or over is referred as a good fish amongst Teifi anglers. Many of our brown trout of course migrate to the sea.
